​Criteria

​Mica members come in all shapes and sizes, from inner city traditional ironmongers with a traffic warden every 100 feet to rural high street stores in towns that haven't changed for a hundred years (except for that giant new housing estate that went up!) to large almost department store shops that expand beyond the core departments and perhaps offer other services too.

All Mica members do have certain things in common though. They offer a core mix of products - paint, diy products, household goods, pest control etc, and crucially all suitable members offer excellent customer service and want to grow their business by working with us to market their business.

​Other Members

For many of our retailers one of the most helpful benefits of membership is learning from like-minded people, whether that be face to face at Mica meetings (we arrange many at suppliers including factory tours or at high quality hotel venues around the UK) or through Mica staff sharing best practice. You can also engage with individual retailers over the phone or via our private social media groups. Whatever works for you.
